Did you ever wonder?????

Hey Everyone...

Did you ever wonder why they call them hot dogs? I mean they are not made out of dog, and I don't know the last time you ate one but they weren't hot. They were closer to cold.

Did you ever wonder why we all get taught the metric system and yet we all say our height in feet and inches? What's with that?

Did you ever wonder snow is white? I mean why couldn't it fall down and be all purple like? Please no comments on yellow snow... Save that for another time.

Did you ever wonder what life would be like if it were black and white like the old movies? It would be pretty cool I think...

Did you ever wonder why milk tastes so bad. I mean, if God wanted us to drink the stuff to stay healthy why didn't he make it taste like sugar?


Well, I have no answers for you, just random thoughts that sometimes keep me awake at night...

So you want to become a rock star eh...

Hey everyone,

I was thinking a praying on what to post this time, and I know that previous posts have been lacking in depth. So here you go...

I know as young people many of us have goals to become firefighters, astronauts, dancers, and rock stars. All though with my infinite wisdom given to me from my heavenly Daddy, I could probably come up with some pointers for all but I know the most about the RockStar thing so here it goes.

Step 1

First you need to either play and instrument and/or be able to sing. You don't have to be Josh Groban, or Andrew Gazaneo to sing well either. You just need to have a desire to get better then you are now.

Step 2

Practice, Practice, Practice

Step 3

Get some "Gigs" (This is a term that means play in a show or such in front of people who could one day be you flocking fans or buy your CD)

Step 4

Depending in what you are going for you might need to find some like minded individuals and form a band. Or you can go solo and be all up there by yourself

Step 5

Always be humble- Seriously guys chicks dig humble guys and girls guys love it when chicks have talent but aren't all in your face about it.

Step 6

Get signed... He guys/gals your on your own with that one, but remember if you do get signed then you know hook me up with some cash!!!

Step 7

Look Mom, I'm a RockStar!!!!

This post is dedicated to all those people that we know and love who have left the nest and are off to take the next step in what God has for them.

Over the summer the youth net lost people like Robyn Day, Nicola Tancock, Jason and Gillian Schuler, and Sarah (Cunningham) Houghton. All of these people were our friends, mentors and just cool to be around and they have gone off to do different things.

Robyn is back in Australia, but plans to return for the church planning SOM and then to plant a church in Australia. Nicola is in the UK and she is helping to organize John and Carol's UK trips as well as help run a church their. Jason and Gillian are in New Jersey working at church / coffee/ shop /recording studio, and really doing what they love. Finally Sarah is married to Lee and they are both working in the UK do some ministry.

It is not goodbye as we will all see each other soon, so to all those that have left may God bless your socks off!!!!

Healing Miracle's

So Duncan just got back to Canada last week from Bangladesh. Traveling with him was our own Andrew Gazaneo and Anthony McLean. While in Bangladesh they saw some crazy healings that I thought I would share with you all. There was this 17 year old kid that from birth was a deaf mute. That means that he couldn't either hear nor speak. So anyways, after commanding all those spirits and demons off of this kid, he could hear and speak to!!!! I saw a video of this and it was very very cool.
